SPCO, locked-out musicians to meet this week
1 January 2013
ST. PAUL - The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Society and the Twin Cities Musicians Union Local 30-73 have agreed to hold negotiations on Jan. 2 and 3 in an effort to reach a new contract.
The musicians of the SPCO have been locked out of their jobs since late October and management has cancelled many concerts.

The parties issued a joint statement about the upcoming negotiations: "These negotiations will be guided by a federal mediator and will allow the parties to informally discuss the very challenging issues that confront them in these negotiations. In an effort to facilitate the process, the parties have agreed not to publicly disclose what transpires in these meetings."
