Tentative agreement reached at Rainbow Foods

| SOUTH ST. PAUL - United Food & Commercial Workers Local 1189, which represents workers at Rainbow Foods stores in the Twin Cities east metro, has reached a tentative contract agreement with the grocery chain. |
“This agreement has unanimous committee recommendation,” Local 1189 announced on its website. “The agreement reached today extends the existing contract until April 6, 2013, pending ratification by the membership. All terms and conditions under the existing agreement remain in effect until April 6, 2013.”
The union said informational and ratification meetings will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at each work location as well as the Local 1189 hall. Details of the voting times and more information about the tentative agreement will be announced, the union said. |
