Fundraiser Monday evening for locked-out Crystal Sugar workers

SOUTH ST. PAUL - United Food & Commercial Workers Local 1189 is hosting a fundraiser Monday, Nov. 26, to benefit the locked-out workers at American Crystal Sugar.
The fundraiser will start at 4:30 p.m. and run into the evening at the Local 1189 hall, 266 Hardman Ave. N., South St. Paul. Donations will benefit the 1,300 workers at Crystal Sugar facilities in Minnesota, North Dakota and Iowa who have been locked out of their jobs since Aug. 1, 2011.

Kits also will be available with information on how to participate in the national boycott of Crystal Sugar being coordinated by the AFL-CIO.
