Course examines leadership styles

| MINNEAPOLIS - The next Labor Studies Skills Course offered by the University of Minnesota Labor Education Service focuses on “Effective Leadership Styles.” |
Taught by labor educator Tony DeAngelis, the course will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the West Bank of the university’s Minneapolis campus.
The class is designed to help union members and officers become more successful and effective leaders. It will identify individual leadership styles, when they are most appropriate and examine the use of power in leadership situations. Tuition is $50.
