Checks, payable to the Minnesota AFL-CIO, may be sent to : Minnesota AFL-CIO, 175 Aurora Ave., St. Paul, MN 55103. In the memo line, print “BCTGM Lockout 2011.”

The federation also continues to collect signatures on a petition to American Crystal CEO Dave Berg, calling on him to return to the bargaining table with the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco and Grain Millers union.

Locked-workers in Chaska got a boost recently from members of Laborers Local 563 who stopped by with their giant inflatable rat, used in many Building Trades demonstrations. The Laborers had been nearby protesting the use of non-union labor at a Mills Fleet Farm construction site on Hwy. 212 in Carver.
