HUDSON, Wis. - Approximately 1,000 labor union members, friends of labor and their families picketed at a “solidarity with Wisconsin workers rally” in Hudson, Wis., on Saturday. View photos from the event.
Braving icy winter winds that whistled through the St. Croix River Valley, the brothers and sisters marched back and forth on the bridge over Interstate 94 for a few hours in the morning and then marched a mile and a half to a rally in front of the government center.

Interstate traffic and local traffic honked in solidarity with the picketers—all in support of Wisconsin workers and the 14 Democratic Washington State Senators who are bucking union-busting by Wisconsin Republicans who control Wisconsin’s executive branch and both branches of the Wisconsin legislature.
