ST. PAUL - Outraged by the raids in Worthington and five other cities, immigrant rights advocates will hold a vigil and rally Monday at the office of U.S. Senator Norm Coleman, R-Minn.
Participants will gather starting at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, outside Coleman's office at 2550 University Ave. in St. Paul.

"This is an opportunity to show solidarity with the Worthington workers and community and call on Senator Coleman to end the raids, reunify families, free the detainees and support comprehensive immigration reform," organizers said.

Organizations sponsoring the rally include AFFIRM, the Alliance for Fair Immigration Reform-Minnesota; MIRAC, Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Coalition; the Minnesota Immigrant Freedom Network and the United Food & Commercial Workers.
