Minnesota labor media win top awards

Minnesota organizations took home several awards in the annual labor media contest sponsored by the International Labor Communications Association. They included Workday Minnesota and the Labor Education Service, which publishes Workday and also produces videos.

The awards were presented Saturday at the ILCA’s biennial convention, held in Raleigh, North Carolina. The focus of the convention was “Organizing the South,” with a keynote speech by the Rev. William Barber of the Moral Monday’s movement.
